Kingdom Yoga delivers practical on-site yoga and wellbeing programmes across Killarney and County Kerry. Our work helps people manage stress, improve mobility, restore focus, and build practical resilience for everyday life.
WHAT WE DO
Sessions combine movement, breath awareness, relaxation, nervous-system regulation, and simple wellbeing education. The approach is accessible, grounded, and adaptable to the people in front of us.Programmes support real-world needs such as physical tension, low energy, poor focus, reduced mobility, stress, and pressure within demanding environments. This is not about forcing people into complex postures. It is about giving them practical tools they can actually use.
WHO WE SUPPORT
Kingdom Yoga works with businesses, hotels, schools, care settings, healthcare environments, community organisations, and intellectual disability services.Programmes are designed for people and groups who need accessible wellbeing support brought directly into their own environment. The setting may change, but the aim remains the same: to help people feel better, move better, and cope better.
PROGRAMMES MAY INCLUDE

HOW IT WORKS
Programmes are delivered on-site, making them easier to access and simpler to integrate into the daily rhythm of your organisation.Sessions can be adapted for staff wellbeing, resident care, school groups, community settings, or one-off workshops. The process begins with a simple conversation about your people, your setting, and what kind of support would be most useful.
ABOUT SEAMUS
Kingdom Yoga was founded by Seamus Murtagh, who has over eight years of professional teaching experience. Before relocating to Killarney, Seamus led classes across schools, nursing homes, corporate settings, additional-needs and intellectual disability services, community groups, prenatal classes, laughter yoga sessions, and public yoga classes. In 2019, as part of his earlier community work in Longford, Seamus had the honour of leading Chair Yoga and Laughter Yoga sessions for an EU Intergenerational Project, delivered in collaboration with Moyne Community School and older adults from the local community. The project was later featured on RTÉ Today. His work blends disciplined practice with a down-to-earth teaching style, making yoga and wellbeing accessible to people of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds.Today, Kingdom Yoga brings that experience to organisations and communities throughout County Kerry.
TESTIMONIALS
“I worked with Seamus in a large nursing home I managed in Longford, and his impact on the residents there was palpable. At first, some of the residents were sceptical and even a few cynical, but Seamus has a gentle way of pulling the elderly in through a combination of relaxation, breathing and gentle/chair yoga that he makes fun. This is all validated practice and has been shown to strengthen residents and reduce falls, but honestly, the residents had such a laugh while benefitting and, as is often said, ‘Laughter is the best medicine.’”G. Walton, RGN, BSc, Pg.Dip.
